TectaBase

TectaBase is used for microwaveable packaging, fast food and salad trays as well as sandwich and bakery packaging. It gives barrier properties against grease and water and has temperature resistance up to 150°C.
 
Salad trays and sandwich packaging are perfect examples, where TectaBase has replaced plastic packaging and helped food manufacturers and retailers to move towards more sustainable packaging. In microwaveable packaging it is now possible to have packaging made of only one material instead of plastic tray with film lid and paperboard sleeve as Tecta paperboard’s top side can be printed and reverse is suitable for direct food contact.
