Principles of Wood and Fiber Sourcing

Our sourcing of wood and fibers is in line with the policy and legislation of each country where sourcing is done. We are supporting sustainable forest management and we promote forest certification for all forest based raw material procurement. Our actions support the conservation of financial, social and ecological well being.

According to the chain of custody we monitor the flow of wood and fiber from the source to the end user. With this scheme we make sure that all wood and fibers come from legal sources. We are not sourcing raw materials from protected areas, neither from nature conservation program areas as defined by various national interest groups. Our principle is that we do not use disputed gene modification raw materials in our production. We acknowledge the social economical needs of the original population and hence we promote wood and fiber procurement, forest management and utilization that honor traditional forms of utilization by natives.

The chain of custody for wood and fibers is a part of our management system.
